Game Passes Guide

Dungeon Quest sells a short list of Roblox game passes. None of them replace a party, Hardcore, or a committed Warrior or Mage. They change how many items drop, how much gold you keep, and how fast XP ticks. This page is the honest shop list for 2026, after Abyssal Void and with codes still empty.

Prices move. Treat the Robux numbers below as the last widely documented tags, then confirm in the live experience before you spend. Cosmetic weapon enchants do not move the Weapons tier list.

Extra Item (about 1,200 Robux)

This is the only pass that changes the loot loop. After a dungeon, Wave Defense cycle, or Boss Raid, you get one extra item. Hardcore already doubles the story-map roll, so Extra Item on Hardcore is three pieces from a hallway clear. Daily rewards also gain a slot. Join the official group on top of Extra Item and a daily chest can land four items. Legendaries can come from dailies. Ultimates cannot. See How to get Ultimates for Hofund and Voidspire.

Extra Item does not raise drop quality. It adds a roll. The extra slot is how people remember a god-pot staff appearing next to junk. Buy it when you already finish Nightmare on the map you farm. Buying it at level 20 so you can collect more Desert Temple blues is a waste of real money.

2x Gold (about 540 Robux)

Clears pay twice the gold. Daily gold also doubles, and stacks with Extra Item’s daily item bonus rather than replacing it. Gold is the blacksmith’s language. If you upgrade one Physical or Spell Power piece every session, 2x Gold shortens the wait. If you vendor everything and never touch the bench, skip it.

VIP (about 480 Robux)

VIP is the comfort pass: a chat tag, a VIP look, a VIP-only weapon enchant, and a 20% XP bump. That bump is why How to level fast still mentions it. It is not Extra Item. It will not drop Voidspire. Buy VIP if you like the tag and you still have a long climb to Northern Lands. Skip it if you already sit in Abyssal Void and only care about chest slots.

Free Skill Reset (about 180 Robux)

Respecs cost gold unless you own this pass. Most accounts pick Warrior or Mage once and stay there. Read Skill Points before you pay to flip stats every night. Content creators who film both kits get more value than a main who already dumped Physical.

Weapon enchants (Embers, Lightning, Flames, Plasma)

These sit in the 250–450 Robux band and paint your swings. They do not add power. Do not buy Plasma because a lobby flex looks like a Legendary. If you want a look, buy one. If you want a clear, buy Extra Item or nothing.

What to buy, in order

  1. Nothing, until you can finish Nightmare with a party. Use Getting Started and the dungeon checker.
  2. Extra Item, once you farm a map you will repeat for a week.
  3. VIP, if the XP bump still matters for your level.
  4. 2x Gold, if upgrades are the bottleneck rather than drops.
  5. Enchants never, unless you have Robux left after the passes that change the bag.

Free Skill Reset is optional even late. Hybrid accounts stall because they split stats, not because the reset NPC charged gold. The skill planner is free.

What passes will not do

They will not open a code box. They will not add dungeon 18. They will not make Wave Defense appear on Yokai Peak. They will not inspect a trade for you. A script menu that “unlocks all passes” is a ban request — see the Scripts Hub.

Play the official Roblox experience. Confirm prices in the shop. Then spend on the pass that adds a roll, not the pass that adds a sparkle. Online co-op still clears more maps than a lonely VIP tag.

If you are still shopping for a first hour, skip every pass, claim daily rewards, and learn Q and E in Controls. The shop will still be there after Enchanted Forest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which Dungeon Quest game pass is worth buying first?

Extra Item, and only after you can finish Nightmare on the map you actually farm. It adds a loot roll, not luck.

Does Extra Item drop Ultimates from dailies?

No. Dailies can roll Legendaries. Hofund and Voidspire still come from Nightmare bonus bosses.

Does VIP increase drop rates?

No. VIP is a 20% XP bump plus cosmetics. Extra Item is the drop-slot pass.

Are weapon enchant passes powerful?

No. Embers, Lightning, Flames, and Plasma are visual. They do not change the weapons tier list.
