Quest Reborn AFK Farming in Dungeon Quest

Dungeon Quest has an official AFK portal in the lobby that lets you earn rewards passively. You walk in, the timer starts, and gold and items accumulate over time. This page explains how the portal works, what you earn at each milestone, and why it does not replace running Nightmare dungeons with a party.

The AFK portal is not a script. It is an in-game feature built by Voldex. You do not need an injector, a macro, or a third-party tool. If someone sends you a loadstring that claims to be the AFK portal, close the tab. Read the Scripts Hub for the full risk picture.

How the AFK portal works

Walk into the AFK area in the lobby. A timer starts. Rewards unlock at specific milestones:

• 0–30 minutes: Gold accumulates (500 million per cycle at high levels). No item drops yet.
• 30 minutes: First item drop unlocks. You start receiving random gear alongside gold.
• 60 minutes: Platinum rewards unlock. Platinum is a premium currency used for Gregg’s Bounty and other purchases.
• Beyond 60 minutes: Rewards continue to stack. The longer you stay, the more you earn.

Roblox Premium members earn bonus rewards — roughly double the Platinum and extra item rolls. Without Premium, expect about half the Platinum yield.

What you actually get

• Gold: Scales with your level. High-level accounts earn hundreds of millions per hour.
• Random gear: Items from your best available dungeon pool. Rarities vary — expect mostly commons and uncommons, with occasional rares and epics.
• Platinum: Unlocks at 60 minutes. Used for Gregg’s Bounty (3,000 Platinum) and event shop purchases.

The gear quality is not equivalent to a Nightmare clear. AFK drops follow a passive loot table, not the active difficulty bonus. If you are hunting Legendaries or Ultimates, you need to run dungeons.

AFK farming is a supplement, not a replacement. Use it when you are sleeping, at school, or away from the keyboard. When you are at the keyboard, run dungeons.

Practical tips

• Leave the AFK portal running overnight. The 60-minute Platinum unlock is the real value.
• Check your inventory after AFK sessions. The gear fills your bag. Vendor junk at the dock NPC before your next dungeon.
• Do not AFK in a dungeon. The portal is in the lobby for a reason. AFK in a dungeon wastes the run and annoys your party.
• Premium is worth it for AFK. The doubled Platinum and extra items add up over weeks.
• AFK does not give Gregg materials. If you need Warforged Metal or Astral Amethyst, read the Crafting Materials page and farm Gregg actively.

Common mistakes

• Staying in AFK when you could play. A single Nightmare clear with a party earns more gold, better items, and XP. AFK is for when you cannot play.
• Assuming AFK drops match dungeon drops. They do not. The loot table is passive and lower quality.
• Using scripts that claim to “enhance” AFK. They do not. They risk your account. The official portal is enough.
• Ignoring the bag limit. AFK gear fills your inventory. If your bag is full, new drops may not register.
