Quest Reborn DQ Plus Subscription Guide

What the monthly sub actually gives you, and what it does not.

DQ Plus Subscription

DQ Plus is a monthly Robux subscription that Voldex added to Dungeon Quest in December 2024. It bundles two quality-of-life features — Quick Swap and Auto-Sell — that previously sat behind the VIP game pass and a separate Spell Switch pass. This page explains what DQ Plus does, how it stacks with the other Game Passes, and whether the spend makes sense for the way you play.

DQ Plus is not a power boost. It does not raise damage, drop rates, or XP. It saves clicks and trips back to the lobby. Read the Updates Hub and the Latest notes for confirmation that the feature is still live before you spend Robux — Roblox subscription products do change prices and perks over time.

What DQ Plus includes

  • Quick Swap — Lets you change your two equipped abilities (Q and E) on the fly from a quick-swap menu, without opening the full inventory. Replaces the older Spell Switch game pass.
  • Auto-Sell — Sets a Robux threshold (499 R$ in the original launch tuning) and automatically vendor-sells junk drops below that pot. Saves you from backing to the dock NPC after every clear.

Both features sit inside the experience as toggles. You can turn Auto-Sell off when you are inspecting drops for a trade, then turn it back on for normal farm nights.

What DQ Plus does not do

  • It does not add a damage multiplier, drop-rate bonus, or XP multiplier.
  • It does not stack with VIP XP for an extra XP boost — VIP XP and DQ Plus are independent.
  • It does not unlock extra inventory slots. Bag space is still 20 slots.
  • It does not unlock cosmetics, pets, mounts, or skins.

If a third-party guide promises DQ Plus adds damage or luck, treat it as rumor. The community response on @DungeonQuestRB was explicit: the bundle repackages features that already existed as separate game passes. Power did not move.

Cost and cancellation

DQ Plus is billed monthly through Roblox. You can cancel any time from your Roblox account settings. Cancellation keeps access until the end of the current billing cycle; you do not lose it instantly. Pricing on the live Roblox page is the source of truth — confirm there before subscribing.

When DQ Plus is worth it

  • Hardcore farm nights. If you run two-to-three hours of Nightmare every evening, Auto-Sell saves the bag-management dance.
  • Ability-flex parties. Quick Swap lets you switch from a damage loadout (Inner Rage + Fireball) to a survival loadout (Universal Heal + Innervate) between maps without an inventory detour.
  • Trade nights. Auto-Sell can be toggled off when you want every drop preserved for inspection.

When DQ Plus is not worth it

  • First 30 days. The starter kit and dungeon grind are simple enough that the subscription barely pays for itself.
  • Solo AFK players. The AFK portal already handles bag pressure; Auto-Sell duplicates a feature you do not need.
  • Players on a budget. VIP XP and Extra Item are higher-impact purchases. See the Game Passes page for the priority order.

If you already own VIP XP and Extra Item, DQ Plus is the next layer. If you own neither, spend on the Game Passes first; DQ Plus saves clicks, not clears.

Pairs with the dungeon loop

DQ Plus plays well with Hardcore mode because Auto-Sell can be tuned to vendor commons and uncommons while preserving any Epic and Legendary for inspection. Pair it with the How to trade checklist so the rare drops stay in your bag for one screen before you flip the toggle.

For raw power, follow the How to level fast guide and the Skill Points page. DQ Plus does not change either of those plans.

What the community said

The DQ Plus announcement on @DungeonQuestRB drew quick criticism from accounts that already owned Spell Switch and Auto-Sell as separate passes. The product reads as a convenience bundle, not a meta shift. If your Robux budget is tight, skip DQ Plus and spend on the Game Passes that move clear time instead.

Check before you subscribe

  1. Open the Official Links page and confirm the live Roblox page still lists DQ Plus.
  2. Read the Latest update notes for the latest price and feature list.
  3. Decide between the Game Passes bundle and DQ Plus based on the priority table above.
  4. Cancel any time from your Roblox account settings if the value drops.

DQ Plus is a quality-of-life spend. It does not make a Mage into a Warrior, and it does not drop Voidspire. Plan your Robux around the things that move clear time, and treat DQ Plus as polish, not progression.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is DQ Plus a pay-to-win boost?

No. It bundles Quick Swap and Auto-Sell, both of which existed as separate game passes. It does not add damage, drop rate, or XP.

Does DQ Plus stack with VIP XP?

No stacking bonus. VIP XP and DQ Plus are independent. VIP XP still doubles XP on its own; DQ Plus still saves clicks on its own.

Can I cancel DQ Plus?

Yes. Cancel from your Roblox account settings. Access continues until the end of the billing cycle.

Is Auto-Sell safe for trade nights?

Toggle it off before inspecting drops, then back on for normal farms. The toggle is per-session.
